Weekly coached swim sessions aimed at improving technique and fitness in a fun and motivating environment. 

JOIN SQUAD + Manage Bookings
The weekly group sessions are an ideal way to get in your swim training. You'll be seeded into a lane of similar ability swimmers and will get a structured workout with each session planned by Head Coach Adam Gibson. This means you will have none of the stresses of public lane swimming (busy lanes, poor etiquette, mixed abilities). Your progress is regularly checked with time trials every few months to ensure everyone is making improvements. The squad is a friendly bunch and it is a great opportunity to meet like-minded triathletes and swimmers. 
Sessions Includes:
  • 1 Hour of group swim training 
  • Structured and organised session for all abilities
  • Technique work
  • Speed and endurance work 
  • Lanes of similar ability (ie. you won't get held up like in public sessions) 
  • Progress recorded and analysed by coach​
The  pool sessions with GreenlightPT have been brilliant. I love doing them. My swim is unrecognisable from when I started  and I gained enough confidence to compete in my first open water triathlon.

Session Types

Technique / SPeed

A mixture of drills and technique practice to improve your stroke with an injection of pace to sharpen up your top end speed!
Take your time on the drills and technique work, the focus is on correct form. Then push yourself on the speed work!

You'll need fins and a pull buoy for this session. 

Threshold

The key session to improving your swim speed over distances greater than 400m! Based around CSS pace this session will always be a tough workout. Intervals will range from 50m to 500m, with some occasional drills and sprints. 
You'll need fins, a pull buoy and a Tempo Trainer for this session. 

Endurance

The perfect swim session for those 'going long'. This sessions features very little (if any!) warm up and straight into a big main set with intervals ranging from 200m to 1000m - perfect for building long distance swimming endurance.
You'll need fins, a pull buoy and a Tempo Trainer for this session.

Please note for all squad session you'll need to be able to swim 400m of continuous Frontcrawl.
