A new type of social ride...
Many groups and clubs offer group rides. But some things often aren't ideal...
- Very big groups (inconvenience to other road users)
- Mid ride coffee stops (Don't get us wrong we love a good coffee... but it should be at the end of your training ride!)
- Specific start times (and locations) that might not be convenient to busy athletes
- Limited distance options that might not fit with individuals training plan distances
How Greenlightpt social rides work...
- A 'Suggested' weekend route is published each week (with GPS route and directions!)
- Use all of this route, part of it, or multiple laps of it to make up your weekend ride
- You'll be able to ride at your own pace and complete your own distance BUT....
- You'll bump into all your GreenlightPT buddies on the way around! (Maybe wear your GreenlightPT kit!?)
- Cycle it by yourself at your own pace or arrange to go around with training partners and friends
- Each route will have a suggested coffee stop towards the end of the route
- Each route will also have a suggested 'Strava Segment' if you fancy having a blast and being a bit competitive
The details...
